10:00 am - 4-H Fun Run and Walkathon
Please take note of the NEW ROUTE. Registration and run will begin at Stewart Park. The ~5K Fun Run takes place on the Cayuga Waterfront Trail starting at the Stewart Park Pavilion, turnaround at the entrance to the Farmers' Market and finishing at the Stewart Park Pavilion. The ~5K Fun Run kicks off the festivities and attracts 150 or more runners and walkers of all ages and abilities. Race results and prizes will be presented at Cooperative Extension. (Registration $10 in advance; $20 on race day until 9:30 a.m.) The race is a flat fast and fun run/walk in Stewart Park that is approximately a 5K. Water stops, and refreshments at a post race party. Race will be staffed by volunteers, with awards sponsored by area businesses (distributed upon footrace conclusion). Free t-shirts to first 50 registrants. DOWNLOAD AN ENTRY FORM.
2:00 pm - Duck Race Launch
Come watch 3400 bright yellow ducks tumble over Cascadilla Falls, at Cascadilla Gorge Park just above University Avenue. Follow your ducks as they race down Cascadilla Creek, and cheer them on to the finish line! Here's how to

3:00-4:00 pm - Duck Race Prizes & Awards
Presentation at 4-H / Cooperative Extension Education Center, 615 Willow Avenue by Route 13 in Ithaca. There will be games/activities and displays at the Center, and refreshments will be available for purchase. Event coincides with the annual CCE-Tompkins Master Composters' "COMPOST FAIR", also held at Education Center!!!
