Primitive Pursuits delivers an experience of connection with the natural world by teaching skills that have served our ancestors from the dawn of time and that are still of tremendous value today.

Mentor In Training (M.I.T) 

Youth aged 14 - 17 are invited to join us at our regularly scheduled programs as Mentors in Training. While shadowing Primitive Pursuits instructors, they develop leadership tools and gain experience as role-models. 

An application is required and youth will be expected to submit written materials and receive feedback as a part of the training process.

M.I.T. participation hours may be used toward a Youth Environmental Leadership Certificate.
