Parent Resources
Below are some resources for parents and participants in our programs.
Please contact us if you have additional questions!

Please label every item you send to programs with your child's name!
Transportation options:
TCAT Bus - Route 41 is a Demand and Response zone that services 4-H Acres. You may arrange transportation to and from 4-H Acres by calling TCAT @ 277-7433.
Our programs are rooted in principles of respect - please share and discuss the Community Agreements with your child before the first day of each program.
Program dates, times, days off, etc.
Snow Day Policy:
While we encourage people to go out in all kinds of adverse conditions, we don't encourage people to drive in those conditions. Our program’s snow-day cancellation policy is that if the Ithaca City School District cancels school due to snow or hazardous weather, all of our programs will also be canceled. If the program is on a school-break day or holiday, the program will be canceled if the Tompkins County sheriff declares that the roads are closed due to hazardous conditions.
If a program is cancelled we will call the Cayuga Radio Group let them know. Tune in to 97.3 fm, 98.7 fm, 99.9 fm, 100.3 fm, 103.3 fm, 103.7 fm, 870 am, or 1470 am or check their websites for the latest updates on closures.
As always, we encourage people to travel only when they feel it is safe. You can check here for current school and road closings.
