Fundamentals of Firemaking
Gain confidence in the most fundamental of all wilderness skills: making a hot fire, fast. Banish the Smokey fire from your family trip. Make a perfect back yard BBQ without petroleum products. Play with fire without getting burned! We'll explore all the uses of a well built fire including cooking, heating, signaling and as a tool for crafting wooden containers.

When your matches get wet, your lighter runs dry and the ghostbusters can't be found its time to call on the Ancient Magic. Learn the arts of Fire by Friction, Fire Carrying, and finding fuel NO MATTER WHAT THE WEATHER and you will never walk without fire again. Be prepared for this to change your view on life.

The Art of Survival Shelters
No gear, no help, no problem! If you can keep yourself dry and warm in the wilderness without a tent or sleeping bag in any season then you don't need this course. The rest of you really ought to take it! It all begins with shelter. From our clothing to the structure we sleep in that keeps us alive you will learn by experience what it takes.
