Caroline Great Race, Next Generaton Map Masters & Explorers - Learning and practicing using TCAT through creating & fine tuning travel plans to PRI, Science Center, TC3 pool places out in Caroline and more. Thursdays after school at DeWitt (Late School Bus) 3:30 - 4:30pm starts 9/29/11. Some days will be Trip Thursdays and we will leave from DeWitt and return to your home on the TCAT bus by 6:00pm.
Fridays at the Brooktondale Community Center - The goal for this program is to provide meaningful opportunities for youth to: Gather socially within and outside our community, be engaged in community service learning, become a visible asset in the community, be identified as valuable members and leaders in our community. Through planning and organizing projects and events for themselves and others, youth have opportunities to achieve these goals. What we'll do is: have snack, play team building games, have focus time on task, brainstorm ideas, set budgets, make time lines / schedules, advertising, make supply / materials lists, transform ideas into work plans.
ALL THESE PROGRAMS ARE YOUTH MOTIVATED. THEIR ONLY GUIDELINE IS: IT'S FOR THE CAROLINE COMMUNITY. It really depends on the ideas and energy of the youth participants.
THESE PROGRAMS WILL RUN ALL SCHOOL YEAR. YOU NEED TO REGISTER TO ATTEND.
