Consumer & Financial Education

Committee Charge: The role of the Program Committee is to work with the Consumer & Financial Management Education Program Team Coordinator to identify community needs that fit within the mission of CCE-Tompkins, to set priorities as to programming efforts to be undertaken, to advise in the development of efforts to meet these needs, to assist in the review and evaluation of program accomplishments, and to garner support and resources for our efforts.  Committee members are asked to be our direct connection to the community in the various capacities in which they work and live.  They serve as our eyes and ears in the community to keep us relevant and on target with current local needs, to identify potential collaborations, and avoid duplication.  They also support the Program Committee's work within the Association by representing its interests on the Board of Directors and various Board Committees and in their communities by spreading the word about CCE-Tompkins programs.
