This FREE, 7-week workshop series is for parents and caregivers who want to learn how to effectively and supportively raise their spirited child(ren). Workshop is led by trained facilitators, Stephanie Gumaer and Cathy Gee and meets on Tuesday evenings, 6:30-8:30pm on July 5, 12, 19, 26, August 2, 9 & 16 [Note: no one may join the class after July 12].
What makes a spirited child? The key word that distinguishes spirited children from other children is "more" - more intense, more persistent, more sensitive, and more uncomfortable with change. The spirited child can easily overwhelm parents, leaving them feeling frustrated and ineffective. Workshop will focus on helping parents and caregivers:
