Taste of Tioga

Originally scheduled for early September, this year's Taste of Tioga culinary event was postponed due to local flood damage from Tropical Storm Lee. Cornell Cooperative Extension of Tioga County invites you to join local farms, restaurants and businesses as they highlight the rebuilding process and celebrate the reopening of area restaurants at the 10^th Annual Taste of Tioga at the Owego Treadway Inn on November 3rd, 5:30-8:00 pm.

Taste of Tioga highlights the connection between local farms and restaurants by showcasing the high quality foods grown and prepared right in your own backyard. Restaurants are supplied with two main ingredients from local farms (in Tioga and surrounding area) and are asked to prepare a dish highlighting one or two of the local ingredients, often a vegetable and meat. Guests then get to sample gourmet style dishes including soups, salads, main courses and desserts, making a full meal for $30 per person.

Tickets include dinner and a free wine tasting and are available at Cornell Cooperative Extension of Tioga County, 56 Main St, Owego or at the door; September tickets will be honored. Shake hands with your neighbor and celebrate the strength of our community in the face of a natural disaster!
