The Community Beautification Program at CCE-Tompkins is sponsoring Crocus Focus, a mass planting of crocus bulbs. Come help us plant 5,000 crocus bulbs on Saturday, October 15, from 11:00am to 2:00pm in Cass Park, directly across Route 89 from the Cass Park ice skating rink. No experience is necessary. This activity is suitable for families. We will have gloves and tools, but feel free to bring an extra trowel.
Crocus are small bulbs that are planted in the Fall and will flower the following March. These flowers will multiply over the years and last far into the future.
