Women in Agriculture

Come join a diverse group of interesting women who are all involved in agricultural businesses. This informal group will talk about shared experiences, needs and concerns in running a farm, balancing work and family, improving on-farm communication, planning for the farm to continue to the next generation, expanding the farm, and other topics that interest you.

At this session, Judy Flint will discuss ways to improve communication. Topics include: listening to include reflexive listening; Actions as opposed to words; Connecting expressions of feelings to statements; "I" statements; and Barriers to effective communication.
