G4H: Herbs, Perennials & Permaculture

This hands-on class will cover perennials as an easier and more sustainable way of growing food; growing herbs and perennial vegetables, introduction to permaculture, Herb Spiral construction. Designed as part of the training program for  Gardens 4 Humanity (G4H) volunteers, this class is open to the public on a space-available basis, with a suggested fee of $20/person.  To sign up, call G4H at Cornell Cooperative Extension of Tompkins County, (607) 272-2292. NOTE: Childcare will be provided during each session. Please let us know when you register if you need childcare, for how many children and the ages of each child.  We will also work with participants who may have transportation challenges.

ABOUT G4H Training

All G4H Trainings are open to the general public. Students who attend 20 or more hours of training can become official Gardens 4 Humanity volunteers and educators and can become a part of our movement. Classes cost $5-$25/session and some scholarships are available.
