Berry Good Field Day

Have you thought about growing berries yourself? Berries are not only delicious and nutritious, but faster and easier to grow than tree fruits. Come to Berry Good Field Day at the Cornell Orchards on Rt. 366/Dryden Road and learn about small fruit varieties and growing practices. Dr. Marvin Pritts of Cornell's Horticulture Department will lead the tour at Cornell's small fruit research plots and answer questions on many small fruits. Samples will be available for taste-testing. Pre-registration is preferred, and space is limited.  Fee: $5 benefits CCE-Tompkins Home Horticulture program. Please call Cornell Cooperative Extension of Tompkins County at (607) 272-2292 for more information or to sign up.
