Primitive Pursuits- Hatchet Afterschool Program

Journey with Bryan of Hatchet on your own survival adventure! Set up a brand new base camp in uncharted territory. As we journey into winter, we will explore the skills that kept Bryan alive 54 days in the wilderness – fire-making using flint & steel, hunting & trapping, fishing spears, wild edible plants, and more. By the end of the session, each student will take home their own hand-crafted survival kit.

NOTE: This 13-week program takes place on Tuesdays from September 25 to December 18 at the West Hill YMCA Camp, 1350 State Rt 79W, Ithaca (2.5 miles from Ithaca). Intended for youth aged 8 to 12 years.
