EmPower NY Workshops
Since Fall of 2004, free EmPower New York workshops have been offered in counties throughout New York State, with coordination and oversight provided by Cornell Cooperative Extension of Tompkins County and financial support provided by NYSERDA.
This statewide funding has ended, and free EmPower New York workshops ("Making Ends Meet", "Save Energy, $ave Dollars", and "Exploring Credit & Debt Management Issues") may not be offered as of March 31, 2012. Please check with your local Cooperative Extension Association to see what programming is available in your area.
We expect a new funding application notice to be issued by NYSERDA soon, and we will seek renewed funding for these workshops. Please check back at a later date to see if EmPower New York workshops again will be available in your area.
