Learn to Burn

  • Wednesday, October 14, 2015, 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM

If you now heat with firewood or pellets, or if you're interested in moving over to this local, renewable energy source, this seminar is for you. Come learn about buying and drying firewood, best burn practices, proper maintenance of wood stoves, and an overview of the latest high-efficiency technology now available for burning wood and wood pellets, including boilers with automatic fuel-feed systems. Pellet boilers can heat buildings of any size--even large commercial spaces--and with bulk pellet delivery that is now available in our area, it makes heating your whole home or business with pellets as easy as using propane, natural gas, or oil at a fraction of the cost. You can also learn more about rebates available to replace your old wood stove with a new pellet stove or your outdoor wood boiler with a new pellet boiler, which could save you thousands! Participants receive a 16-pg. booklet on heating with wood, and will have a chance to win a wood stove thermometer to be given away that evening.
