Do you manage or are you planning to open a brewery, cidery or distillery? The annual Finger Lakes Craft Beverage Conference (FLCBC) is designed for both new and experienced producers and will provide the information and contacts needed to start a brewery, cidery, or distillery in New York. The conference also offers a track to give those involved with an existing craft beverage business information to improve their business.
Multiple tracks include sessions covering legal issues, tax issues, marketing, distribution, beer and cider production issues as well as sessions on malting barley, hops and cider apples. Hear from Federal and New York State Government officials, craft beverage industry representatives, university researchers and extension educators, brewers, cider makers, and distillers about important topics related to your business and industry. The event includes a trade show and opportunities for networking (including a Social Hour following the sessions) with others in your industry.
COST: $85/person ( $75 for each additional person from the same brewery/ cidery/distillery/farm); price includes a light breakfast, lunch, an evening social hour and a 2017 Finger Lakes Craft Beverage Conference T-Shirt.
Local Craft Beverage Pairing Dinner ($45/person additional charge) features beverages from a local cidery, a local brewery and a local distillery. Sponsored by Cornell Cooperative Extension of Seneca County.
COST: $30/person includes a continental breakfast. 2 field trips are planned.
