There’s fun for all ages and FREE admission at National Bioenergy Day on Saturday, October 14, 2017 at Cayuga Nature Center, sponsored by Ehrhart Energy! Learn how animals adapt to climate change, and what families can do to reduce their carbon footprint here in the Tompkins County area.

Event Details

12:00 Noon: Presentation - kids and adults learn how animals adapt to climate change.

10:00am-3:00pm: Experience hands-on science demonstrations on weather and climate change.

10:00am-4:00pm: Automated Wood Heat Demonstrations & Education with

  • Guillermo Metz, Energy Team Leader at Cornell Cooperative Extension of Tompkins County, will discuss how automated wood heat technology works and how it can benefit the local and global environment, our local economy, and your pocketbook.
