Decision-Making for the Inclusive Organization

  • Tuesday, May 16, 2017, 9:00 AM - 12:30 PM

A new Inclusive Leadership Development workshop from the Natural Leaders Initiative

Led by Margo Hittleman, NLI Coordinator

A wealth of evidence supports the power of incorporating diverse perspectives into organizational planning and decision-making. But how do you manage a decision-making process to maximize the potential of incorporating diverse, and even divergent, views and still reach closure in a reasonable amount of time? In this lively, engaging workshop, participants will learn a four-step decision-making process and practical tools applicable to a wide-range of group decisions and a variety of contexts.

In this highly interactive workshop, you will learn:

  • How to use diverse perspectives to create robust decision-making frames
  • Why and how to welcome and manage constructive conflict
  • Practical tools for helping your team elicit and incorporate multiple perspectives for greater creativity and innovation
  • What not to skip when time is short and a decision is needed NOW!
  • How to learn from experience and create a culture of "failing well"

$75 (community non-profits); $90 (large non-profits, public & for-profit organizations)
