ZOOM VIRTUAL CLASS: You will receive a link to the Zoom class after registering.

With coronavirus there has been a huge spike in interest in growing food to feed yourself & your family. With this class we will teach you about growing beautiful flowers to feed your soul!

What a joyful privilege to bring colorful blooms inside! Join us to learn about annual flower varieties that are easy to grow in your home garden and lend themselves to making beautiful arrangements.

Instructor Martha Gioumousis is best known for her abundantly beautiful plantings around the city of Ithaca, especially the containers on the Commons. Prior to her position as coordinator of the Tompkins County Community Beautification Program, Martha worked on cut flower research with Cornell horticulture professor Chris Wien, growing and cutting thousands of beautiful blooms. In this class, she will share tips for variety selection, timing of planting, best practices for growing and cutting, and more.
