Open Days Garden Tours

The Tompkins County Community Beautification Program coordinates local participation in The Open Days Garden Tours, a national event sponsored by The Garden Conservancy.  These private gardens are open to the public on one day only.  The gardens are selected because they have that "something special". Visitors can drop-in at any or all of the gardens on their own schedule during the hours that the garden is open. The cost is $5 per person per garden, with proceeds split between the Tompkins County Community Beautification Program and the national Garden Conservancy. The tour goes on rain or shine.

Fall Creek Garden Tour - Sunday June 10, 11:00 - 3:00    This free garden tour features home gardens in the Fall Creek neighborhood. You can pick up a map on the day of the event in Thompson Park, on Cayuga and Marshall Streets.

Lakeside Views Garden Tour, 6 gardens, sponsored by the Southern Cayuga Garden Club - Sunday June 17, 1:00 - 5:00, Union Springs and Cayuga, NY. Tickets are $10, available the day of the tour at the Gazebo Downtown, 163 Cayuga Street in Union Springs.

Dryden Open Gate Garden and Art Tour      Saturday July 14, 9:00 - 2:00
Four beautiful gardens with original art on display and for sale in each garden. Starting point: municipal parking lot, George Street, Dryden, NY.  Free shuttle to each garden. $5 includes admission to all four gardens. Seniors $4. More info at www.drydenbeautification.weebly.com
