Volunteers help establish the Esty Street Neighborhood Garden in August 2017

Esty Street Neighborhood Garden

Located in a lot next to the Meadow Street branch of CFCU Community Credit Union, the Esty Street Neighborhood Garden was begun in August 2017 with assistance assistance from Cornell Cooperative Extension Tompkins County, Greenstar Community Projects, volunteers from Ithaca Children's Garden and Loaves and Fishes.

The Esty Street Garden is now managed by Food Justice Projects (FJP). FJP "supports the growing and distribution of locally produced healthy food as a means to end food discrimination, especially for those in our Black and Brown communities".
