Growing Great Garlic

  • Wednesday, October 12, 2022, 6:00 PM - 7:30 PM

Due to low registration, the class has been canceled.  There is a video recording from September 14, 2021 that is available for purchase.

Growing garlic is easy and it is a great crop to add to even the smallest of gardens. Unlike most veggie crops, garlic should be planted in the fall. This class with Jennie Cramer will cover proven methods for growing great organic, disease-free, flavorful garlic.

Instructor Jennie Cramer is an educator with Cornell Garden-Based Learning. She is an ecologist turned enthusiastic horticulture educator with 25 years of experience in organic gardening, regenerative agriculture, natural history and botanical education. She is especially fond of teaching students how to create a resilient garden ecosystem as a means to personal growth and community sovereignty.
