It features high efficiency, European triple-paned windows, SIPs walls (6.5" = R40) and roof (8.5" = R50), ICF foundation, and an energy recovery ventilation system. The house was built using Passive House techniques for air-tight construction. Other features include decking made from recycled nylon carpeting, radiant floor heating, and one floor living for a retired couple.
