Green Building Case Studies
Students enrolled in Professor Elan Shapiro's Projects in Sustainability course at Ithaca College during the Fall 2005 and Fall 2006 semesters developed a series of case studies of local homes featured in the annual Green Buildings Open House, under the guidance of members of the Ithaca Green Building Alliance. The case studies are designed to provide insight into the homeowners' experiences and motivation for building with various alternative building methods and technologies, including cost and performance data.
