Start A Cooking Matters Class

Follow these guidelines to determine if your agency is eligible to host a Cooking Matters course:

Does your agency:

  • Serve families within 185% of the poverty level who are able to cook at home or are working towards self-sufficiency?
  • Have space for at least 8 participants to take part in a 6-week cooking and nutrition course (i.e. a classroom area and a kitchen)?
  • Agree to Operation Frontline’s contract and host agency responsibilities?

If you answered yes to the questions above, consider which of Operation Frontline’s available courses best meets the needs of the population you serve. Click Here for a brief description of courses offered in Tompkins County.

Ready to Host a Course?

If your agency meets the above criteria and has identified what type of course you are ready to offer, please contact   Cooking Matters at (607) 272-2292 for more information on starting a class series.
