Learn how to set up your own rainwater harvesting system to conserve water and be ready for the next drought! Sean Dembrosky will give a slide presentation on how his nursery, Edible Acres, got through last year's drought using harvested rainwater. Even if we don't have a drought this year (fingers crossed!) harvesting rainwater for your garden is more sustainable and will cost less than using metered water or a private well.

Topics covered will include sourcing and placement of containers, connecting multiple containers in series, techniques for designing overflow systems, and farming techniques that complement erratic rainfall and turbulent growing seasons.
