Come learn a variety of nutrition topics and recipes with Sarah Curless, the SNAP-Ed Nutrition Educator for Tompkins County, with the support of the Tompkins County Public Library! These FREE Zoom classes are focused around seasonality, holidays, and cooking tips and tricks. To register, click on the link below, and it takes you to the first workshop in the series. without needing any tahini!
5/19: Movin’ May
Explore how to exercise without
spending too much money on equipment and gym memberships. Also, learn how to
make simple and healthy dishes like Picnic Chicken Salad!
5/26: Comfort Food Switch Ups
Learn how to take some of your
favorite comfort foods and put a healthy twist on them. Try it out with this
recipe for Broccoli Macaroni and Cheese!
6/2: Mindful Eating
Explore how to slow down when it
comes to eating and appreciating your food. Also, make this Tomato Bruschetta
with us!
6/9: Rethink Your Drink
Sugary drinks are hard on our
bodies, and we will learn about why water and fruit drinks are the way to go.

6/16: Staying Active in the
Finger Lakes

trails and outdoor activity clubs and resources in this part of the country, as
well as different exercises that you can do outdoors. Try making this “Fruit

with this class about what you can eat to support different types of health.
