Enhancing Regional Connections

Way2Go’s Move Together NY is a multi-county effort aimed at improving access to health care and employment for rural communities, particularly where cross county travel is required. The project is a collaborative of mobility managers and health-care professionals in many nearby counties working together to create a more well-connected inter-county transportation system. Together we’re identifying gaps in service, creating regional transit connections, and improving collaboration among service providers and communities.

Move Together NY Resources

Move Together NY provides online resources including an interactive mapping tool, a “crowd sourced” online directory of transportation services, and a set of county fact sheets serve as the foundation for future planning and decision making. A newsletter keeps participants current on transportation and mobility management projects, initiatives and events across Upstate NY.

Together we’ve been able to access a multi-county grant supporting a voucher system for medicaid recipients.

• A network of partners that can work towards improving regional transportation collaboration
