DESCRIPTION:Join us for a talk on exemplary green gardening practices using native plant species that are beautiful throughout every season. We will discuss native plant /insect /animal interactions as a key component in preserving biodiversity and creating a garden that blends aesthetics with habitat needs. Learn to create a balance in the garden that will sustain itself overtime with minimal additional inputs. Instructor's bio: Krissy Boys worked with volunteers and students for three decades in Cornell Botanic Garden's Mundy Wildflower Garden. She was introduced to native plant gardening at the Brandywine River Museum and has worked to incorporate them more into landscapes ever since.This class is offered in-person or via Zoom.
