4-H Public Presentations Kick-Off

  • Thursday, January 23, 2020, 5:30 PM - 7:30 PM

4-H Public Presentations is a program in which youth learn to create a presentation and develop the skills needed to present it before an audience. They learn about the research process and the steps needed to organize information into an interesting and creative presentation.

Workshops geared for different levels of presentation experience.  All ages are welcomed but programming is designed for 8-12 year olds.

Come learn about:

  • The benefits of being a great public speaker
  • How to choose a topic
  • Different types of presentations
  • How to prepare for a presentation
  • And much more!

Volunteers and Parents: Learn more about the program, learn about your role and how to guide 4-H'ers through creating their presentation.

All workshops will be fun and hands-on. We will start the night with a light dinner and an overview of the program.
