Making Soil Mixes with Compost

Learn about a variety of inputs (including compost) used to make a soil, and go home with your own blended seed or potting mix! Bring a sample of your own finished compost to test for maturity. We will teach how how the quality of the compost used will contribute to the properties of the soil. Take a tour of the soil production area of GreenTree to see how various blends are made on a larger scale.

This interactive, hands-on workshop will provide the knowledge and skills you need to make your own soil mix. Each paying household goes home with a ready-to-use seed or potting mix that they make. Register by clicking the link in the "Learn More" field below.
