Growing American Ginseng

Join Ginseng Expert Bob Beyfuss for a classroom presentation followed by woods walk. Learn how to grow American ginseng on forested land in Central NY, in shady perennial gardens or in raised beds. This class will begin by teaching participants how to assess a forested site for suitability for growing wild simulated ginseng. Information on harvest and marketing will also be discussed. $25/person includes "The Practical Guide to Growing Ginseng" book by Bob Beyfuss. Ginseng seed will be available for sale.
