From the Driver's Seat: A Volunteer Driver Forum

Many local residents don’t have reliable transportation to medical appointments, social programs and services, school events, and more. You can help others by becoming a volunteer driver!

Attend this forum on volunteer driving, talk with volunteer drivers and the agencies they work with, and get all your questions answered!

Way2Go, a program of Cornell Cooperative Extension Tompkins County, is hosting the event, in partnership with the following organizations – who all need more drivers:

  • Cancer Resource Center of the Finger Lakes
  • Friends in Service Helping (FISH)
  • Love Living at Home
  • Opportunities, Alternatives and Resources (OAR)
  • Showing Up for Racial Justice (SURJ)
  • RED School Rides
  • Tompkins County Poor People’s Campaign
  • Gadabout
  • Disabled American Veterans

RSVP not required. Light refreshments will be served. Come, learn and please consider this high-impact volunteer opportunity.
