Transportation Equity Needs Consultant

The Transportation Equity Coalition of Tompkins County is looking for a consultant to conduct a Transportation Equity Needs Assessment over the next six months. The goal is to understand the strengths and weaknesses of our transportation system more deeply and thoroughly. The consultant will engage community-based participatory research approaches to provide underserved residents the opportunity to contribute to transportation research and decision making and produce an assessment more reflective of their community. The consultant will conduct surveys, stakeholder meetings and data analysis, and support focus group discussions. Proposals are due 2/2/2022 and bids will be opened at 10 am 2/3/2022.

CCETC Strategic Planning Consultant RFP

(February 22, 2021) Cornell Cooperative Extension of Tompkins County (CCETC) is currently engaged in a strategic planning process for our 2021-2025 plan. This process is led by a Strategic Planning Committee (SPC) made up of staff and Board members. The SPC has already begun the process and collected certain data, including one community meeting, a draft list of stakeholders, and interviews with the organization’s Leadership Team members.

The SPC is seeking an external consultant to help finalize the strategic planning process by carrying out the scope of work outlined at: http://ccetompkins.org/resources/strategic-planning-consultant-rfp

We expect that the consultant will meet with the SPC biweekly.

Deliverable Deadlines

  1. Strategic Process Outline: March 31, 2021
  2. Working Draft of Strategic Plan: May 15, 2021
  3. Final Draft of Strategic Plan: July 15, 2021

Proposals

We are seeking brief proposals which contain the following:

  • Your experience in strategic planning and facilitation, especially your experience in facilitating a diverse, equitable, and inclusive process and your experience working with a comparable organization with diverse program areas. Please provide links to previous strategic plans for which you have led the process.
  • Your experience with CCETC (not required), and/or your experience ability to develop strategic plans in collaboration with a committee.
  • Questions you have in regards to the strategic planning process.
  • Proposed cost. We are seeking competitive proposals under $15,000.

Proposal Timeline

Proposals are due by EOD March 5. The SPC plans to interview potential facilitators and make a decision by March 15.

Greenhouse Assembly & Bike Shelter Construction

BID DEADLINE: 4:00pm. EST on 9/25/2020

Cornell Cooperative Extension Association of Tompkins County (“CCE-Tompkins") seeks one proposal for two building projects at the main office located at 615 Willow Ave. Ithaca, NY 14850.

1. Full Assembly of a Sturdi Built redwood 9’ X 12’ Lean-to Greenhouse.(https://www.sturdi-built.com/). Inclusive of a 2” X 6” treated mud sill bolted to existing pad, staining AFTER the roof and side wall sections have been assembled. Installation Manual available upon request. Sturdi-Built representative also available for specific questions/concerns.

2. Design/Construct an “Attached” 8’X12’ Bike Shelter which would have similar lines/wood finish of the Greenhouse above. Utilizing Polycarbonate Glass for roof to withstand high winds/heavy snow loads and rot resistant wood such as locust properly secured re: foundation. (back and right side likely to be existing building).

Any bid received after the specified date and time will not be considered. The successful bidder shall be required to enter into a contract/construction agreement (inclusive of insurance certification) with CCE-Tompkins in the manner and form approved by CCE-Tompkins’ Board of Directors. CCE-Tompkins reserves the right to reject any and all bids or to waive any informality to the extent permitted by law and reserves the further right to make an award to the lowest responsible bidder determined to serve the best interest of CCE-Tompkins.


Tompkins Farm to School Geographic Preference Bid for Local Farm Food - DELAYED OPENING AND AWARDING DUE TO INCLEMENT WEATHER

Tompkins County Farm to School Project Cooperative Group Bid, FOR PERIOD OF: February 10th, 2022- June 30th, 2022

Tompkins County Farm to School will receive sealed bids for a Geographic Preference Bid. This bid includes meat, eggs, dairy, maple syrup, frozen and fresh product and farms can bid on 1 or more items. Bid documents are available HERE  and by contacting Baz Perry, ebs20@cornell.edu.

Questions are due by 1/31/2022 and Questions and answers will be posted on this page on 2/1/2022. Bids will be received at the Cornell Cooperative Extension of Tompkins County Education Center, 615 Willow Ave., Ithaca, NY 14850. Bids should be addressed to Baz Perry.
