New this year:  Healthy Food For All will have vegetarian chili for sale!

Each winter, CCE-Tompkins coordinates a regional Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) Fair that enables consumers to meet farmers from a number of different CSA farms in this region, and learn more about their CSA programs. In 2015, 20 CSA farms serving Cayuga, Cortland, Tompkins, Seneca, Schuyler, and Tioga Counties participated in this event.

CSA provides members with a weekly selection of just-harvested food, and gives local farmers an established market prior to the growing season. There are differences between CSA programs such as share size, products offered, pick-up locations, u-pick options and on-farm work opportunities.

The annual CSA Fair is FREE and open to the public. This year Healthy Food For All will have vegetarian chili for sale!  Proceeds will support the growing number of subsidized CSA shares the program provides. The event includes quiet activities to occupy children while parents circulate, and there is table space to sit and review the materials you gather from the various farmers. CSA programs fill up quickly, so don't miss this opportunity to meet the CSA farmers, compare their offerings, and find a CSA that is just right for you! Watch our Events Calendar for upcoming dates!
