AgStravaganza! provides the public with an opportunity to learn about agriculture at the Shops at Ithaca Mall. This family-oriented, indoor-outdoor event features educational exhibits and lots of hands-on activities. Find out what cows eat, sample milk, cheese and ice cream, take a Stick Horse Ride, meet the Dairy Princess and Ronnie Raindrop, visit with farmers from a diversity of operations and pet a bunny. Just outside visit with a pony, goats, sheep and lamb, calves, and a cow, and climb into the cab of a big tractor. Agricultural videos for children will be shown throughout the day, and don’t miss Storytime with the Dairy Princess Program.
AgStravaganza! is sponsored annually by Tompkins County Farm Bureau in cooperation with Cornell Cooperative Extension of Tompkins County, with assistance provided by the Tompkins County Soil and Water Conservation District and the Tompkins County Dairy Princess Program.
