About the Class:

Parents Apart® has been streamlined for online delivery to a 4-hour workshop for parents who want to learn how to help their child(ren) adjust during their separation or divorce. The workshop is taught by parenting educators and focuses on how children react emotionally to their parents' separation or divorce, and what parents can do to help them adjust.

  • Parents may attend voluntarily or may be referred or ordered to attend by Family Court or the Supreme Court, Matrimonial Part;
  • Both sessions must be completed to receive a certificate; only the first class of each 2-class series is listed above.
  • Pre-registration is required. There is a sliding scale fee based on your ability to pay.
  • Attendance requirements, concerns about safety or other special circumstances may be discussed with the Parents Apart® Program Coordinator, 607-272-2292, X 240
