Winterizing Your Vegetable Garden

  • Tuesday, October 12, 2021, 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM

The key to GREAT spring gardening is good fall preparation! Learn how to "put your veggie garden to bed" for the winter: analayze what worked this season, finish and store your last harvest, prevent diseases from overwintering, protect your soil from winter cold and spring rains, ensure optimal nutrition and soil tilth for great gardening the rest of the year.

In previous years w have hosted a single winterizing class for both veggie and ornamental gardeners. This year we have split the classes so that gardeners can dive deep into the info they need for their specific growing. Our Winterizing your Ornamental Garden will take place in November. Stay tuned for details.
