Wood Pellet Boiler Home Tour - Ithaca

Winter's coming and it's not too late to think about changing out that old oil or propane heating system for a fully automated wood pellet boiler! Highly efficient and clean-burning, these boilers can keep your whole home warm all winter long while saving you money. They also help support our local forest economy by making use of waste wood from logging and mill operations--increasing overall forest health and biodiversity. 

There are two opportunities to meet homeowners and learn about their experiences with their pellet boilers. Guillermo Metz, educator and Energy Team Leader with Cornell Cooperative Extension Tompkins County will be on-hand to answer your questions about the range of systems and the very generous incentives currently available.
