This fully equipped bake shop isn't something that most people would think of when they talk about green building. Nevertheless, Ithaca Bakery has been renovated to be as sustainable as possible and is a fine example of local green building. It generates about 10% of the energy that it uses through a 15kW solar PV system and boasts an impressive array of energy efficient appliances.
