Tompkins County Farm to School Project Cooperative Group Bid, FOR PERIOD OF: September 1st, 2020- December 31st, 2020
Tompkins County Farm to School will receive sealed bids for a Fresh Fruit, Vegetable and Meat Geographic Preference Bid. The Tompkins County Farm to School works to connect k-12 schools with local food providers to improve student nutrition, provide agriculture and nutrition education opportunities, and support local and regional farmers. Child nutrition programs are also striving to achieve this by working with vendors who can cultivate relationships with various types of local farmers that can provide local products to our districts through a competitive bid process. Bids will be received at the Cornell Cooperative Extension of Tompkins County Education Center, 615 Willow Ave., Ithaca, NY 14850. Bids should be addressed to Chloe Boutelle. All bids must be received by 1:00 PM on 08/6/2020. Any bid received after the specified date and time will not be considered. The successful bidder shall be required to enter into a contract with Tompkins County Farm to School.Tompkins County Farm to School reserves the right to reject any and all bids or to waive any informality to the extent permitted by law and reserves the further right to make an award to the lowest responsible bidder determined to serve that best interest of Tompkins County Farm to School.
