This is a 20-year-old garden sloping toward and overlooking Cayuga Lake. The two-acre property is sheltered by a dense border of conifers, ornamental trees and flowering bushes. Perennial beds, flowering bushes and a thyme garden welcome visitors to the front of the house. The south side features an herb garden that terraces toward a pergola supporting wisteria and then a vegetable garden. The back yard is lined by a mixed border of cottage gardens filled with perennials, annuals and flowering shrubs. A winding path leads toward a secret garden with Asian influences featuring a waterfall, small pond and patio.
NOTE: This garden was featured on an Open Days Garden Tour and is not open to the public at other times.
