Cargill Teaching Kitchen

Are you interested in teaching cooking classes, holding a team building event or preparing food for your business in a commercial kitchen?

Consider renting the Cargill Teaching Kitchen

While our kitchen primarily serves as the home base for the numerous nutrition and food related workshops offered by Cornell Cooperative Extension of Tompkins County, it also is available for rental on a limited basis for a wide range of activities.

We offer a fully functional commercial kitchen with one demonstration station, four teaching stations, a sanitation room and a meeting area. Standard food preparation tools and equipment are provided. Additional equipment, food preparation tables, meeting tables and chairs are available upon request.

To rent the Teaching Kitchen, please get in touch with the contact listed below. An application / rental agreement will be sent to you via mail or email. Upon receipt of the completed application, we will contact you to confirm your reservation and to set up an orientation, Please allow for at least 2 weeks prior to your intended use. Proof of liability insurance must be submitted at least 10 days prior to the event date.
