Join Master Gardeners Shoshe Cole and Jim Karpinski andĀ for this Intro to Vegetable Gardening class that will cover what you need to get started growing food this season. Topics include site selection, garden planning, soil prep, planting seeds vs starts, seasonal maintenance and other gardening resources.
Instructor's bios:
Shoshanna Cole is a Master Gardener, homesteader, planetary geologist, and educator. She completed her Master Gardener training in 2014 and has volunteered on the CCETC Growline since 2018. Her garden focuses on annual and perennial edible plants, especially unusual species and varieties.
Jim Karpinski is a longtime vegetable gardener and more recent Master Gardener. He likes to grow a large variety of vegetables and has enjoyed expanding his container gardens.
This program is valued at $20, however, please pay what you are able. Paying more than $20 will help others attend the class.
