The weather is getting warmer and the Finger Lakes PRISM has just the opportunities for you to enjoy the gradual journey into spring. Join us and our partners at Finger Lakes PRISM and CCE Tompkins for a Trail Survey Program workshop on April 16th!
Join our dedicated team of volunteers and survey for invasive species this spring and summer! You will be trained by Finger Lakes PRISM staff to identify and report high priority invasive species in your area. The survey period will run from April 1st, 2026 to September 30th, 2026.
Please sign up for the training and/or workshops at the attached link. The training sessions will be virtual, but we will be hosting an in-person workshop in Danby State Forest on April 16th from 10am-12pm! At this workshop, you will learn how to identify key terrestrial invasive species, understand its impact on our ecosystems, and gain the knowledge you need to survey on your own!
*It is important for anyone interested in attending the workshops to register on this form. This is how we will communicate cancellations, rescheduling, inclement weather, etc., so we need everyone to provide their info so we can reach out if something changes for a particular workshop.*
