Cynthia Cave-Gaetani began her term as Executive Director of Cornell Cooperative Extension Tompkins County in January of 2024. Cynthia is a seasoned operations professional, with over a decade in healthcare and operations and community non-profit leadership. 

She came to CCE Tompkins after serving as Sr. Director Food and Nutrition Services with Morrison/TouchPoint Support Services at Lourdes Hospital in Binghamton and had previously worked for Extension for 5 years in Tioga County. 

She grew up in the small town of Marathon, NY in Cortland County. Cynthia holds a Master of Science in Human Nutrition, a Bachelor’s of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics, and is also a Registered Dietitian.
