Agroforestry Community Workshare

  • Saturday, June 1, 2024, 10:00 AM - 1:00 PM

Join us for the first of the agroforestry community workshare events! Open to all with a focus on supporting practitioners in accomplishing a specific task on the farm, we will start at Food Forest Farm supporting the practice of mulching in the nursery. Expect to move mulch and do some basic clearing around smaller nursery stock before the placement of mulch. Discussion will take place throughout focusing on agroforestry practices, conservation practices and codes, how to achieve them, and how they fit into the holistic farm plan and climate adaptation and mitigation. A farm walk with refreshments will top the event off. See you there!

Farm owner: Jonathan Bates the land steward and business owner.
