Ever wonder which plants and fungi you spy in the woods are edible? Join CCE Tompkins on a Foraging Walk, we will go for a short walk (less than 2 miles) through the forest and identify edible flora and funga and discuss about how to best prepare them. Registration is required, full details on the location will only be sent to those who register.
Instructor's bio: Tara Morgan is a NYS certified schoolteacher with more than a decade of experience in outdoor education and community naturalism. She is eager to share her knowledge and interest in foraging local edible plants, and fungi, with the community.
This program is vauled at $20, however, please pay what you are able. Paying more than $20 will help others attend this class and future workshops.
