Green Buildings Open House

The Ithaca-Area Green Buildings Open House (GBOH) is one of the premier events of its kind in the country. We've featured dozens of the most inspiring homes in and around Tompkins County over the years. Many of the hosts of recent tours incorporated things they saw or learned about on tours they went on. For many years, this was an  annual event--in 2017 we moved it to biannual (every other year), with an occasional dedicated tour of commercial buildings in our area.

It's a unique experience to get behind-the-scenes tours. Talk with homeowners about their process of building and living in a green building, and how their design and materials decisions have stood the test of time. And know that we're here to answer all your questions and get you on the path to making your home more energy efficient, healthier, and more comfortable.

Be sure to also check out CCETC's green building web pages and explore some of the dozens of homes and businesses that have been featured in past tours by going to our Ithaca-Area Green Buildings page.
