Go Solar Tompkins County is a Solarize-type campaign that ran March to June 2017. Over that time, we enrolled more than 100 people who are on course to install nearly 1MW of added solar in Tompkins County.
Don't worry if you missed it--it's still a great time to go solar, with more options than ever before, from rooftop and groundmount systems to off-site solar on "solar farms". We are still here to help guide you through your solar options including Community Shared Solar. Whether you rent or own your home, live in an apartment, or your home is completely shaded, you can buy panels on a solar farm that's optimally situated for solar, or just buy the power the panels produce, at a discount from what you currently pay NYSEG--that's right, you get solar power, at a cheaper rate than you now pay, with no money down and the option to opt out anytime!
You can learn more at our Community Shared Solar page, or call or e-mail us with questions anytime.
